They met through mutual friends during high school. When they were 20 & 21, the timing was just right, and they started to date. Now, after almost 7 years together, these two are getting married!

Cody had big plans to propose to Abby during an all-day canoe trip. When the rain canceled their canoe trip, he knew he didn’t want it to cancel their engagement. So he asked Abby if she’d like to do a winery day. Abby said this didn’t seem suspicious to her at all, since Cody, “knows I love to do that.”
The second winery they stopped at was nice and quiet, with only two other people there. Finally seeing his chance for a low-key proposal Abby would love, he popped the question. She said yes, and the wedding planning began!

If there is one thing these two love just as much as each other, it’s their pup, Benny. If there’s one thing Benny loves just as much as his humans, it’s the camera. I swear, he was smiling! We spent some time at the park getting lots of puppy snuggles in, before heading to Park Farm Winery. The winery was absolutely beautiful, and we caught the most dreamy, golden sunset. 😍

Cody: “When she was supportive of me still doing the things I love to do, and also encouraging me to do them.”
What is something you both have in common?
Abby: “We are both foodies! Love spending time together over good food and drinks and exploring new places.”
Cody: “We both are very stubborn people.”
What is something that’s totally different about the two of you?
Abby: “Cody LOVES doing all things outdoors like hunting and fishing. That is his passion. I would much rather go shopping and do something indoors. LOL”
Cody: “Pretty much everything.”
What is a fun fact/something people might not guess about your fiancé?
Abby: “Cody randomly bought a banjo during the pandemic and decided he was going to teach himself how to play it…let’s just say it is still a work in progress!”
Cody: “She’s obsessed with mushrooms.”
