We missed throwback Thursday again, so we’re going to call this flashback Friday. 😉 Sarah & Steven’s wedding had that beautiful, laid back vibe that I love. The wedding party wore cowboy boots, with the bridesmaids in pink dresses and the groomsmen wearing jeans and vests.
The girls got ready at the Baymont Inn in Bellevue, there was a lot of laughing and some tears too. I love the energy of a wedding morning, when the bride is surrounded by women who are so excited for her day ahead and want nothing but the very best memories for her. This wedding produced some of my very favorite getting ready images, ever. 🙂
We drove up to the Bellevue State Park for the first look, with enough time for portraits before the outdoor ceremony on The Shore Event Centre’s beautiful back deck overlooking the Mississippi. We ended the night taking advantage of those same views, with Bride & Groom portraits right by the Mississippi’s edge. Living in Bellevue, I often go about my day without taking in the beauty around me. Local weddings always help me recognize that beauty all over again. Congratulations on your recently celebrated 2nd anniversary Sarah & Steven!
In the thick of wedding season I’m feeling so blessed and excited to do this full time. I love looking back at the past several years & all of the wonderful weddings I’ve documented. Â I’m looking forward to the rest of the 2016 weddings as well as all of my new 2017 couples!
