It’s that time of year again! Our annual fall mini sessions. π These sessions were released to our mailing list subscribers first, so a couple slots are already full. This family has never missed a mini session with me! I also had the honor of photographing Madi’s extended family right before her first birthday, and the announcement that her little brother Byron was on the way. Madi & Byron both came in the Spring to get their photos taken with the baby bunnies, and I most recently saw her at an Anniversary party I photographed, where she assured me she was ready to smile pretty for me at this year’s session. Β πΒ Β It’s a pretty awesome part of my job watching families grow. Not to mention the fact that as a work at home Mom of 3 kiddos, lets just face it, this is also my social hour. π
I was SO excited to see an email from Amy that she wanted to book a session for her & Alex. I photographed their wedding in 2012 & could not wait to see them again!! They were just as cute together as they were on their wedding day.
Speaking of getting married, these two had just tied the knot maybe a week before our session. It was nice to give the newly weds some family photos!
Next up is my best friend of 23 years and my beautiful goddaughters. Julietta (the older one) is at that age where real smiles are hard to come by. I decided to sit her down and have a convo with her one-on-one before the rest of the family got started. We talked about family, friends, and farts… haha. I was able to elicit some real emotions for Mom. Trust me, I know how it is Mamas. I’ve got your back. I will always try my very very best to get you portraits of your children that feel genuine to who they really are. π On a side note… little Misha’s teeny tiny pig tails! <3 <3
Next up is this adorable little family, who has since grown by one more little girl. It was so fun to explore with Norah and play some peek-a-boo. π She’s close in age to my son Blake, so it’s always fun to catch up with her Mom Steph and talk about the ins & outs of having two years olds. So much to talk about.
