Nathan & Scott live in California, so I was delighted that they were able to come to Iowa to finalize plans for their November wedding, which will be in Dubuque. I was so happy to be able to meet with them face-to-face. Even better, they wanted to do their engagement session while they were here. The day before their session I received an email from them titled “Cornfield?” They had the idea to do their portraits in a cornfield to really get the Iowa vibe. I was all for it! How have I not done this until now? 🙂 It just so happened to be perfect timing, and everything came together so that we were able to use a field where the hay had just been baled.
All I can say is: An Amazing Couple + A Corn Field + Hay Bales + A Rendition of American Gothic = An Amazing Iowa Engagement Session. 🙂
