Britney and Kaleb had a gorgeous spring wedding in Bellevue, Iowa. Their ceremony took place at St Joseph’s Catholic church, and the reception was held at Horizon Hall. For portraits, we visited Bellevue State Park and later took advantage of the beautiful view of the Mississippi River to capture some stunning photos of the couple in the soft evening light. 😍

First, Dad & Britney had us all teary eyed during their first look together. Then Kaleb had the best reaction when he turned around to see Britney during their first look. Those were definitely highlights of the day for me as well.
When The Bride is a Teacher
My absolute favorite reception detail is usually a hard question to answer, but not this time. It was the first time I’ve ever seen this. Britney is a first grade teacher, and her class surprised her with this piece of art where they all listed what they think love is. Check it out further down the post, and let me know what your favorite responses are. One of my favorite answers was, “all you need.” High five to that kid’s parents. 😉
