Chelsey & Matt celebrated their first anniversary this weekend! Time to blog their beautiful day? I think so! I was so happy when they chose me to document their wedding. I have known both of them for awhile & was so honored to be their photographer.
Fast forward to late September, I found out I was pregnant and due 3 DAYS after their wedding. It was time to make some decisions. I knew I didn’t want to sit out for their big day if there was any way possible I could do it. I also knew there was a huge possibility I would be in the hospital at that time! I talked with them & we decided the second shooter for their wedding (I include a second shooter in every wedding collection) would be upgraded to first shooter if I went into labor. We then hired a third shooter, who would be upgraded to second shooter in the event I couldn’t be there. I want to say a HUGE thank you to my second shooter, Amanda, from Amanda McLeod Photography, and my third shooter, Sarah, from Sarah Sunstrom Photography. I couldn’t have done it without you ladies. You rocked it and put my mind at ease! π When the big day came, all three of us were there to capture the wonderful day. (Check out the end of this post for behind the scenes shots!)
From getting ready in the morning, to the last dances we captured that night, it was a gorgeous day! Chelsey & Matt were surrounded by a large bridal party and a ton of family and friends. They were both beaming the entire day, and it was a joy to witness it!
This was a favorite moment of mine, when one of Matt’s sister saw Chelsey in her dress for the first time. π I love when two families already care so much for each other, and the wedding day is just making it extra official.
