On the morning of Dallas & Ashley’s wedding, I started coverage at Gymkana Blue Salon in downtown Dubuque, where Ashley works as a stylist. Someone had a bag sitting there that said, “All you need is good hair.” With a wedding party FULL of stylists, that could have definitely been the motto for the day. Although I’d say it was, “All you need is good hair & good friends.” … with the added bonus of a wonderfully supportive family & perfect weather. As you can guess, it was a great freaking day. Since I photographed Dallas’s brother’s wedding as well, I felt like I was surrounded by familiar faces. I absolutely love it when I get to photograph multiple weddings within the same family. They said “I do” at The Derby Grange Barn in Dubuque, and then headed to Bellevue for a riverside wedding reception at The Shore Event Centre.
