When I married my husband, I got the best bonus ever, my Sister-in-Law, Tara! Her and her hubby Dan have chosen me to photograph every milestone from their firstborn’s maternity session and birth. Layla is their third baby, and we chose to once again capture this time in their family with an in-home session. When an in-home newborn session involves older siblings, it gives us the unique opportunity to capture them connecting with the new baby in their own environment. When big sister Maddie decided to put on her Elsa dress and check on Layla, I was able to capture that without any prompting. When she later decided to burp her Mickey Mouse while Mommy burped Layla, I got that on camera as well. Those real life moments are what my mama-heart lives for.
